What is a Certificate of Good Standing?
A Certificate of Good Standing is a document issued by Companies House which states that the company is incorporated in the UK, with various optional extra pieces of information, and that the company is in "good standing", i.e. there are no outstanding, time-sensitive documents required to be provided to Companies House.
Who can get a Certificate of Good Standing?
You need an account with Companies House, nothing to do with having anything registered yourself there, just a log in. When you are on the correct company's page, click on the "More" tab and you will be able to order a Certificate of Good Standing from there.
