What do I need to get a Death Certificate?
You will need either a previous copy of the Death Certificate or certain details that would normally be included on it.

Things to remember
A new Death Certificate can be ordered on your behalf if you don't have one or don't want to use your original.
Under no circumstances is it possible to apostille a photocopy of a UK Death Certificate, even if the copy has been certified by a solicitor.
It IS possible to apostille a photocopy of a foreign Death Certificate, so long as the copy has been certified by a UK Registered/Practicing Solicitor.
