What is a Driving Licence?
A Driving Licence is a physical card, which conveys legal authorisation, for a specific individual to operate one or more types of vehicles, for example; cars, buses, lorries, motorbikes, etc.
Who can get a Driving Licence?
Anyone over 17, who has residency in the UK for at least 6 months, can apply to get a UK Driving Licence. You will need to take lessons with either a driving instructor or competent person (so long as they are over 21, had their licence over 3 years and is not currently banned).
What do I need to get a Driving Licence?
You need to pass a Theory Test and a Practical Test. The Practical part of the test must be completed within 2 years of the Theory being passed.

For obvious reasons, an original Driving Licence cannot be apostilled, it has to be a photocopy.
Believe it or not, it is actually illegal to make a colour photocopy of a UK Driving Licence in the UK. Any copies made will be in black and white.
